Harry was a courteous, pleasant experienced and competent roofer who is able to tackle a variety of tasks -in our case connected with removing tiles of an old terrace tiled roof house, replacing felt and battens, updating ridge tiles as per modern building regs and sealing an extension flat roof plus pointing and chimney repairs. His employee was also experienced and diligent. Both were easy to relate to with excellent customer communication skills. Highly recommend HC improvements who are a versatile company. The works took a week to complete.

1. Harry answered my phone enquiry himself. No answerphone. 2. An appointment was made to view the property, Harry was bang on time. 3. Harry made his assessment, gave me a price and stuck to that price. 4. A date was made to do the work, Harry called me just prior to the start date to explain that he needed one extra day to finish the previous job, quite acceptable to me. 5. The team started work at 8 am each day and the job was completed earlier than anticipated. The site was left clean and tidy. 6. I have a 20 year guarantee on the work.

I would definetly use Harry again and can’t recommend him highly enough, I’m 200 miles away and he sent me footage daily of the work that he and his team carried out. Completed in the time he had given and great communication and work carried out. Thank you so much

Harry and his team are professionals they made easy and they explained everything clearly and they explained it step by step and I would go back to them for anything else they are friendly and helpful you could not ask for any better people. I had the roof fixed with new felt, battens so it would last for another 20 years.

I called Harry regarding deteriorating felt and a leak on one side of my roof. He quickly arranged a time slot for the half roof replacement - keeping old tiles. The price was reasonable and adjusted based on other quotes. The workmen turned up as stated and worked hard during what was terrible weather (rain and strong winds). Finished when stated and waste removed. The roof looks good, with the cement at the edges finished off nicely. Most importantly - the leak has stopped and my house is dry. There was some small damage to my gazebo, but Harry and co replaced the sun panel at the job's end.
