  Refurbished.

  I don’t usually write complaints, but in this case, I felt it was necessary, even a few months later. When I got the quote, I was told the creaking floor would be fixed (all flat)—this was one of the reasons I chose them. I mentioned there was another flat behind and was concerned about cables, etc. but was assured it wouldn’t be a problem. After the job was done, the creaking remained. They said they did what they could, but wiring limited their work. I had to move in and trusted their word. Now the only solution is to remove and redo the floor—not just costly, but very inconvenient.

  Complete kitchen refurbishment with removal of external wall and fitting of Bi-fold doors.

  The communication between Aran and his team was excellent, through the quotation, planning and refurbishment. He was able to arrange all contact with building control, using his trusted architect which removed any pressure from us. He acted as the project manager throughout, even when we came across a slight planning issue and needed to change our plans. Being a registered Wickes kitchen fitter, Aran’s team were able to engage directly with our kitchen suppliers, ensuring delivery dates matched those of their own progress. The quality of the work and installation is excellent. 5 stars!!

  Kitchen renovation and installation project

  We couldn’t be happier with the work done by Aran and his team. From start to finish the experience was smooth, professional and honest. Very communicative and punctual. Every detail was installed with care and the result is excellent. We can’t recommend Aran highly enough.

  Cloakroom complete refit

  Hartnett were very professional in their finishes. The tiling done was the best we’ve ever had and the carpentry was perfect. Aran kept us up to date all the way through with dates and who would be coming next and to do what. We are very happy with our new cloakroom and would definitely recommend Hartnett Carpentry!

  Kitchen worktop and sink fitting

  The fitting of a very heavy (needing 2 persons) and long worktop was made difficult by the need to carry it through narrow openings in an old house to be cut to the correct size and with a hole for the new sink. This was done very successfully despite the unevenness of the wall to which it was fitted, a credit to the experience of Aran Hartnett.
