  Outstanding work, New batons + felt for main roof replacement and new single ply garage roof

  The main roof of the house had sagged on the eves, they had the hole roof off batons replaced new ridge tile system put in and replaced edges with new clip covers to stop weathering. Due to the risk of rain which was not foresee that evening they ended up completing the hole roof with new batons felt and lead plus repointing in 12 hours. Outstanding work. The twin garage roof aver the next few days was replaced with a timber and single ply membrane system with a vent pipe installed. I had not seen this rubberised material before and researched in to it which looks better than 3 felt system

  Fixing multiple roof problems on block of flats pitched roof

  We employed Harringtons to fix multiple problems on a tiled pitch roof on a block of flats in Portsmouth where we had both storm damage and general wear an tear. The work included re-felting, replacing the lead flashings, fixing cracks in the chimney stack and party walls on a 5 story block of flats. Excellent service throughout. Polite, efficient, proactive from initial request for a quote to final invoicing and guarantee. Safest scaffolding also provided, important as work was being carried out with a public pavement below. Best roofing company I have ever used

  Lack of Accountability in My Experience

  I previously used Harrington Property Services for a job and based on that experience, asked them to install a new patio. While the work initially looked fine, issues became apparent after rainfall, with water pooling against the house wall and below the step. I raised this and was told it would be addressed once the weather improved. Despite numerous messages and calls, I have not received a response. I’m very disappointed with the lack of support and communication, which has deeply affected my overall experience. Based on this, I would not recommend their services.

  Hi there thank for your comments, you were made well aware of this before the job was started , we told you that you needed to have a slight fall away from the house to prevent pooling in the future. You chose to ignore our recommendation and told us to make the patio level although we told you problems may occur in the future if you didn’t have to fall you still chose to ignore.

  Garage leak

  Van and colleague Michael came round to look at a leak in my garage and did a fantastic job. He quickly identified the issue and fixed it efficiently. Very knowledgeable and clearly knows his trade inside out. Highly recommended and very trustworthy.
