I booked an end of tenancy cleaning service through Checkatrade and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
HandM Cleaning requested payment by bank transfer (£280 total, effectively £140 per hour). The cleaners were at the property for only 1 hour and 40 minutes. A number of critical items were missed, including skirting boards, proper hoovering, and the shower drain. The cleaning carried out was only surface level — and much of the flat had already been cleaned before they arrived.
No invoice was provided.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond. The price was not £140 per hour and included two cleaners for a deep clean based on the property size and condition. Photo evidence shows the work completed, including a heavily soiled oven that was significantly improved. The customer inspected the property and paid on the day. The following day she raised minor issues; we apologised and offered to return free of charge, but this was declined. As we attempted to resolve the issue and the service was delivered, a full refund is not reasonable.
