    Gary and his team were excellent

    Gary and his team have just finished a utility room extension for us. The job was challenging but they worked in all weathers and conditions to get the job done. Gary is calm, experienced, professional and ensured that every detail met our needs. He was always there to answer any questions and communicated well throughout. Gary and the rest of the team were friendly and polite to everyone and did their best to minimise disruption to us and our neighbours. We love our new extension and would highly recommend Gary.

    Excellent greenhouse dwarf walls and patio in Sussex

    We were very happy with the service we received from Gary and his team. Communication throughout was good, Gary was flexible in terms of site visits in advance of the work, and the finished product is exactly what we envisaged and wanted. Highly recommended!

    Rear Extension & Kitchen Fit

    My initial meeting with Gary eased my concerns about undertaking this first ever build - he was calm, understanding & very helpful & continued to be so throughout the build & afterwards. An itemised estimate & weekly payment schedule were very much appreciated. All the work was carried out professionally, with minimal disruption & Gary & all his team were friendly, hardworking, helpful & tidy. Nothing was too much trouble, no detail too small, no problem unsolvable. I am delighted with job they have done & would happily recommend them, already given details to a friend !!

    Single storey extension and kitchen

    We’re absolutely delighted with our new extension! Starting a major build in winter was fairly stressful, but Gary was very calm and patient, managing the work brilliantly to ensure minimal disruption. He showed his knowledge and experience by suggesting changes which really improved the build, and respected our wishes (and indecisiveness!), which was appreciated. Gary, his team, and everyone he brought in were highly skilled, tidy, respectful, and great to work with, always calm and friendly despite the weather. They finished on time and on budget and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend H&C!

Welcome to H& C Construction Sussex Ltd, I have worked in the building trade for over 35 years.

I've carried out all aspects of building work in particular specialise in extensions. My works regularly involve also garage conversions Bricklaying, refurbishments and general conversions.

I've used the same tradesman to carry out my work for a long time and have established a reliable and professional service from Design to completion.

I can carry out an entire Job with no need to call on anyone else to include every item needed on a build, i.e. plumbing, plastering, bricklaying, carpentry, flooring, double glazing, tiling, supply kitchens, conservatories.

I am a member of Checkatrade for the last 12 years with excellent feedback and have been recommended from professionals such as architects and structural engineers. I also had a special mention in a magazine feature on employing builders (Money matters) and in 2015 was nominated with the Local authority building control as a finalist for works carried out in two categories

I've built many extensions locally and carried out garage conversions, internal conversions, office refurbishments, loft conversions, and so on.

I've managed various projects and been in the construction industry since leaving school and trained initially as a Bricklayer.

All my tradesmen have a minimum of time served /or apprenticeship served.
