Following several replies to our request to build and fit a bespoke bedroom wardrobe system to our specifications we chose HAMMONDS who albeit the most expensive they have proven to be the MOST helpful, skilful and flexible people to deal with. In particular Dan who was extremely efficient and diligent in every aspect. As mentioned it was expensive BUT true VALUE for money and fits the adage " you get what you pay for" WE ARE ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED with the end results and have no hesitation in highly recommending them and would use again.

Dan was punctual, friendly and tidy. His work was skillful and concerned with achieving a quality finished product. No hesitation in recommending him.

A cedar hope chest that has been in my family for many years was damaged in a move. As you can imagine, this was heart breaking. Hammond's to the rescue! They skillfully restored it! I can see why they are called in to listed sites when restoration work is needed! I will surely call on them again, they also build furniture as well as cabinetry.

From the first discussion and instruction I was fully confident that my criteria and specifications had been fully understood. Practical and aesthetic modifications were made as the job progressed with input from HR. They were communicative, efficient and their pricing was very fair. I have no hesitation in recommending their expertise. Both Chris & Dan were a pleasure to deal with.

Very happy with the work done. The experience and skill of their team as well as care for the work done I found as unprecedented and hard to find. They showed initiative and were able to improvise and find solutions to the problems often found In old properties where bespoke materials and traditional methods are required
