Absolutely cannot fault the work we had carried out by Alan and his team. We moved the kitchen and dining room, swapping them over, changed a window to double patio doors and had a full kitchen refit, as well as a downstairs loo created. The standard of work was great, timings were communicated well and all workers left everything as tidy as possible daily. Very happy that we chose Gwilliam Builders.

Walls were stripped and plastered with new skirting board in all bedrooms, hall, landing and lounge/diner. Door taken out and archways put in. Door knocked through from hall into garage, front porch and inside door taken out and replaced with one front door from porchway. Lots of ancilliary work undertaken (new guttering and lintels etc) new sliding doors fitted to main bedroom wardrobe, new stair rail and under stairs fitted with sliding quiet close drawers. Work carried out to very high standard. Finished quickly and efficiently. Very professional and crew worked hard. Excellent job!!

Brilliant experience, the result much exceeded my expectation. They cleared our overgrown garden including removal of trees and large shrubs, levelled the ground and prepared for turfing. All waste was removed and the site was left clean and tidy. The work was carried out within the agreed timescale and budget. Communication was excellent and we are very pleased with our new garden.

Fantastic - Alan and his team quickly removed the old fence which had rotted and had multiple concrete sleepers holding it together and replaced with brand new concrete posts, concrete boards and wooden fence panels. New fence panels look great, they done how managed to make what was previously a very crooked fence look straight and level. They worked very quickly and managed to get the job done in less time than expected. Fantastic work - extremely pleased with both the service and the price! Where recommended to me and I would definitely be using them again for any future work 10/10

The project was to build a garden office using unusual construction methods and materials. We wanted to make it as sustainable as possible so specified low carbon construction - ground screws, timber, strawbales and lime plaster. Alan and his team had not used this form of construction before but were up to the challenge. Our Architect had produced complex construction drawings but Alan found ways to simplify the build and make it quicker and cheaper. We now have a very solid, warm and attractive garden office which we're very pleased with.
