Response from GVN Tiling
I was surprised by the review left by the customer. I visited and we agreed on a price. When I arrived i noticed that the trap that was installed by the plumber was not quite set in the right position. I alerted the client to this who informed me that I can tile around the trap and that the plumber will return to set the trap accordingly. After completion of the tiling, the client confirmed he was happy with the job and made the full payment. The client then contacted me to ask me to complete two additional jobs. Again a price was agreed for both and full payment received after completion, the customer indicated he was happy. The customer even send some lovely text messages to say well done. No issues was raised and no additional money was charged. Approximate two weeks later the client contacted me to indicate the trap cover does not fit and said it’s because the floor should have been elevated while tiling. I again reiterated the trap should be lowered and visited to offer support and even offered to remove the tiles to allow the plumber to correct this and then offered to re-tile at no extra cost. The customer then send me a number of unkind messages.
