  Mark and team came and did our granite chip driveway in March 2026 and we knew by reputation and local jobs we had seen done that their quality was good. On quotation they were very competitive and those factors together made them an obvious choice. On site they were courteous, knowledgable, tidy, fast and clearly skilled. From breaking ground to finishing was under 4 days and the disruption was minimal. Was a pleasure to work with them and I am looking forward to talking to them about a patio!

  Gravel driveway upgrade and extension

  Mark and his team were excellent. We had our gravel driveway re-laid and extended into what was a bit of garden. They dug up the garden and old driveway, laid all the foundations, topped with gravel and edged with granite sets. Also added sandstone slabs under the front porch. Driveway rollered and borders tidied afterwards. It looks very smart and we are extremely pleased with the final result. Mark kept us updated on the progress of the job every day, advised us honestly about certain aspects of it; communication was very good. Mark and his team worked very hard and provided a quality job.

  Front path and patio

  Mark and his team were first class from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout, from initial quote to completion. They arrived on time, kept everything clean and tidy, and finished exactly when they said they would. Outstanding service all round - highly recommended.

  Gravel driveway renovation

  Mark and his team did an excellent job 'upgrading' our driveway by excavating the old, mud-encrusted gravel, laying a proper foundation and scalpings, clearing a short length of ditch, laying edge sleepers on a concrete base and then topped with fresh 20mm gravel. Mark was very helpful with honest advice and his team most polite and pleasant. Recommended!

  Could not recommend Guildford Driveways highly enough.

  In large part we selected Guildford Driveways because of the boss, Mark. We needed to completely renovate our extensive drive (over 100m). This was a major job, and we could not have had a better company do it. Mark's advice was clear, objective, realistic, and reliable. The quality of workmanship was outstanding. The price was fully transparent, and Mark even recommended that we not do certain things as they were unnecessary - even though if he'd kept quiet he could have quoted a higher price. The team Mark employs are a credit to him and really add to the reputation of the company.
