  Roof Repair, Abandoned Scaffolding

  Martin and John were great when it came to quoting and making recommendations. On the day, sadly Martin was unable to make it due to injury. His replacement was just as great but I wasn't that pleased with the work done. Martin came out personally to rectify, which I really appreciated. So far, it looks like the work is of fine quality and has solved the initial issues. Sadly I can't give a full 10 star rating because I have been chasing for nearly two weeks now for the scaffolding to be removed, with no sign of it ever being taken away. I didn't ask for a new, open-air extension!

  Flat roof fix

  They came to fix our flat roof which was pooling water on top instead of it draining down the downpipes. Despite promising angled wood to help it drain, they installed flat plywood, leaving the roof unchanged and water still pooling. During the job, we raised concerns as we couldn’t see the tapered wood, but Martin reacted defensively and rudely. The worker also lacked proper tools, even asking us if he could borrow a knife, resulting in a messy finish on the edges. £1500 down the drain. Avoid.

  Gutter and fibreglass roof repair

  Had a leaking roof/gutter through a fibreglass drainage area. On consultation, found that the existing lead lining was in terrible condition and would require resealing the lining and sides, fixing the gutter area and new fibreglass. On the day, the only works carried out were painting new acrylic over the top of the existing bad condition roof. Works look rushed. Two men paid £225 an hour each for a glorified paint job. When challenged, lied about cost of materials. The boss came and also lied about the cost of materials (with a different figure) Would not use again.

  Guttering

  Loose guttering fixed, but one of leaks could not be located, so they said they would come back and fix if I showed them video evidence, I trust they will.

  Roof Replacement

  Martin & co were extremely reactive when I contacted them (urgent work). Before the job started, Martin provided me with clear quotes so I had an understanding of what are my different options and the costs. He stuck to the initial cost provided and did a very thorough job. The team did an excellent job of replacing our flat roof and repointing our chimney. He maintained contact with us the whole time and sent us photos / videos to keep us updated and evidence progress made. After completion, he sent someone promptly to rework details at no extra cost. Now over 7 months dry and happy!
