We undertook a complex renovation to remove a wall and upgrade the kitchen of our old cottage. GTS were professional throughout and worked hard to ensure we achieved the high standard of finish we desired. Working with old buildings isn’t easy but GTS took it all in their stride, working tirelessly to keep the project on schedule. Honest, hardworking and accommodating.

George built our timber-framed, one-story extension in Crediton and helped rearrange our floor plan and install a wood burner. As first-time homeowners tackling our first renovation, we were immensely grateful for George's impeccable work and professionalism. He patiently explained everything, answered our questions, and promptly responded to messages. We trusted him to make sound decisions and hire equally skilled contractors. Despite the challenges of living and working from home during renovations, everyone was respectful and generous. The final result exceeded our expectations!

Firstly, I must say what a very pleasant, honest, courteous and professional person George is. Nothing was too much trouble and without exception he responds to all communication (text and phone) pretty much immediately. Working with handmade bricks for our large glasshouse (9 metres x 5metres) he did a lovely job. The end result is absolutely stunning.

George visited to assess and price up the job. He was easy to contact and made it very easy to organise his visit. He was very helpful and considerate when planning and executing the job. I am very pleased with the look of the fresh new cladding to replace the rotted out timber boards.

Isn't it great when someone who starts off as a tradesman working for you winds up becoming a family friend! George and team were fantastic, we can't fault any of them, especially the chippie (Mark) and plasterer (Sean), for all of them nothing was too much trouble, plus the job was on budget! Being a Rugby player George's personal expertise is in groundwork and brickwork which to me are the most important part of big jobs like this. George also had an excellent rapport with the Building Inspector and our own, architect. Bottom line, would we use him again, of course!
