    Solar motif garage doors

    Gary designed, built and installed new garage doors to suit my 1930s home. We have art-deco style stained glass windows in solar motif, which inspired Gary's design of some unique garage doors. It is great to hear passers by getting excited about the design. It was nice to have Gary around. It was a completely stress-free experience, and he communicated well throughout: on the price, the time-frame, the design and during the installation. I couldn't recommend him more! Thanks Gary

    New wardrobes

    An absolute gem. Gary has been amazing - courteous, considerate and a fab craftsman. Gary replaced our wardrobes and has taken extra care in ensuring they were what we wanted. They are lovely - beautifully made with a lovely finish. Gary is so professional and reliable - promptly replying to emails, punctual and fastidiously tidied up every day. We’re so pleased we’re getting Gary back to do some other projects.

    Shelves on cupboard

    Gary built four shelves in my laundry cupboard. Invisible fixing and one with skates for ventilation. They are so well made and well done. I’ll be calling Gary for other jobs I have in mind. Impecable work!

Hello and welcome to the GSF Woodworks profile page.


I’m Gary, a sole trader.


Growing up in a household of builders, I guess it was in my heritage that I would follow suit.


I have 20 years of experience in my field of Carpentry and Joinery, a job that I very much enjoy.


I have worked as a sole trader for over 10 years.


Before this, I worked for a large construction company in the southeast


I cover all aspects of carpentry, so basically, if it’s made out of timber or a timber-based product, I can usually help.


I’m not lacking in creativity either; if you can imagine it, I might just be the man to create your vision.


I take a great deal of care and pride in producing my work, so you can rest assured I will do my utmost to deliver quality.


I also understand that having work done around the home can be a worry, as a sole trader, you won’t have to stress about having countless strangers and unvetted sub contractors in your home, so if you book GSF Woodworks, it’s me, Gary that does the whole job.
