  Trustworthy and hardworking team, Confident that they knew what they were doing!

  We asked a few companies for quotes to re- vamp a patio and change the driveway. Groundwork and building solutions, were competitive , but not necessarily the cheapest, but we felt the most helpful and honest. they were hampered by the weather on other jobs that delayed the start of our work, but they always kept us informed and when they knew they could start were there on the day at 8am. The lads worked really hard through all weathers. They were polite and friendly, consulted us at every stage and kept the area clean and tidy as they left each day. Really pleased with the overall result.

  Resin bonded drive

  GBS was recommended by a friend to lay a new resin bonded dive. Paul initially came measured up and discussed in detail what we would like in style and design. The quote was received and excepted within a week. Once the work started its been a very easy process to navigate. Sam was there at the beginning and he was there when the drive was completed, as we had uncovered a couple of unforeseen issues it was reassuring to know he was onsite to explain and use his experience and expertise to fix those potential problems.   Fantastic new patio area

  Green fingers too! Highly recommended

  This was the third job GBS have done for us. This time it was an ornamental path and garden lawn. Throughout the project their communication was excellent ensuring we got exactly what we wanted and their workmanship was second to none. We had an issue with the lawn which required a treatment. GBS helped us throughout and would not take payment until the problem was rectified a number of months later. We now have a lush green stripy lawn which finishes off our garden work perfectly. Thank you GBS - a fabulous job again!

  Old patio replaced and improved

  Paul's team of 3 carried out an absolutely amazing job. They removed over 8 tons of material and brought in about the same amount. The completed work is beautifully finished. However, anyone can make things look good. One essential thing is the quality of what you can't see. I was able to check what was going on at every stage. The team worked hard, treated the garden and driveway with respect, adapted the task as needed, and communicated with me frequently. If you want a professional job done, go for GBS!

  New tarmac driveway

  Paul and the team were amazing from start to finish. This is our second time using them as they did such a good job the first time and they’ve done a great job again this time round. Very professional, reliable and communication throughout was great. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be using them again in the future :)
