James and his colleague were in and out in a day for what sounded like a slightly fiddlier fitting than usual. Not that they made any fuss whatsoever. The work they did was great and couldn’t fault them on quality. Punctual throughout and very easy to communicate with, fairly priced, and left the place spotless. Sure to use them again. Top job. Fixed the problem with our plumbing, we had the smell of sewage coming into the building. They identified the problem (two separate issues) and corrected them very professionally. Communication was also tip top, really decent, genuine guys doing a really decent, thorough job. Thanks

James and his team fully refurbished our house from top to bottom. It was a house of multiple occupancy before we bought it so every room needed attention. The work was varied but James can tackle anything with incredible results. He made our loft space a proper bedroom including fitting a new staircase and installing steel joists, designed and fitted a brand new ensuite, fully landscaped our garden, fitted a brand new kitchen, new downstairs loo and new family bathroom. We trusted everything in James and he didn't disappoint. We'd never use anybody else.

Ground up did a superb job of designing and fitting our ensuite to a very high standard. We couldn't be happier with the results and would certainly recommend them. Since then, we have had a number of other projects around the house and Ground Up is always our first choice.

Boarded loft space to create storage, general carpentry (including stud wall infront of damp proofing to fit wall units to), general maintenance, decorating, bathroom & kitchen plumbing, odd jobs including putting up shelves, heavy mirrors, filling wall/ceiling holes. We have used James Plenty/Ground Up for c. 10 years: gas cooker installation, new heating system, full family bathroom and en-suite refurbishment, roof repairs, soffits and fascia repair/treatment, house insulation, carpentry, decorating. Totally reliable, trustworthy & efficient - our ‘go-to’ for all house requirements.

My boiler had been playing up for a while and eventually stopped working Ground up came and explained due to the age of my boiler and it’s efficiency that it would be more cost effective to install a new energy efficient boiler Ground up done a fantastic job Very neat and tidy Communication from start to finish was brilliant They also took the time to explain exactly how the system works I Would highly recommend and will be using again in the future
