  Installation of false chimney breast , installation of antique fire place and bespoke cabinetry

  David and his team are excellent. Before David undertook any work our living room was a real mess. The original features had already been removed, leaving a small cottage room almost a sea of nothingness. David helped us design a false chimney breast and bespoke cabinetry to help us bring about some sense of central point. Throughout the course of works, we requested a number of adjustments which David accommodated without a problem. The quality of workmanship is excellent. The team were kind and communicative, respectful and beyond anything else, talented. We’ll be coming back!

  Panelling in the bedrooms

  Absolute outstanding service. David is meticulously to detail, reliable and tidy. We are absolutely delighted with the panelling they created in the bedrooms. I cannot recommend Griffin more highly and will definitely be using them again in the future… so I hope this post does not mean I have to wait longer for them to return and do our next project! 😁

  Replaced all internal doors in the flat with new ones

  Great work replacing the old doors for new ones. Work was completed while I was away and the flat was left in perfect condition with work completed to a very high standard.

  100+ Year old Window Frame Repair

  During the renovation of our Edwardian property, built in 1890, the old timber frames of the front windows had their paint removed and sadly, this revealed a lot of problems in some areas where the wood had rotted away. Fortunately, Griffin Carpentry was working on a job opposite and were able to help us out. The team were fantastic, they removed the rotten wood, replaced it and went out of their way to acquire cutters to match the historic design. A+++ in every way, quality of work, professionalism and more. I’d use Griffin Carpentry again wherever I can.

  Fitted shelving and wall replacement

  David was amazing to work with from start to finish. He was super detail oriented and totally understood what we were going for. He was also very flexible and able to work on the fly as we discovered oddities behind the existing wall that needed to be adapted to. He was SO tidy. The work done by his plasterer and tile guy were also top notch. We also got them to add two plinths in the top of vaulted ceilings for ceiling fans which they did beautifully. I would not hesitate to recommend them and am sure we will be approaching for more work in the future!
