Repeat customer, this time to have a 70s table top sanded and re-stained to remove marks. Greg did a good job, would recommend.

We inherited an oak side table which had been considerably marked , having been in constant use over the years. Greg spent the time to take the table right back to the wood and then he revarnished it . He removed the table top and replaced some of hinges . The result is marvellous ! So thrilled . Rather than be a piece hidden away, it takes pride of place in the sitting room .

Greg took on the job for me of restoring a pair of 1960s dining chairs that my daughter had found in an Oxford junk shop. The resotation was far more complex and involved than I could possibly have managed. And then I found Greg. It's probably best to use my daughter's words. The chairs have been so lovingly restored to their original splendour with such caring craftsmanship and clear expertise. We love them!

Greg has done a superb job of mending a broken leg on an armchair which got damaged in a recent house move. The job was made more difficult by the fact that it had been repaired previously and not in the most effective way. Greg removed all the old fixings and replaced them with a more suitable system which matched the other leg. The result is a more symmetrical and secure fix. Greg kept us informed with videos of the process which were reassuring and informative. Not an easy repair - we're grateful to have our chair back in better shape than it was before the break.

I needed a chair and some glazed cupboard doors repaired after a removals incident. The damage to the chair was significant, yet Greg did such a good job that you can't tell which is the repaired one in the set unless you already know. We've asked Greg to repair some other chairs where the legs broke after decades of use, looking forward to seeing the results! Greg is responsive (unlike others I approached, though also pretty busy - a sign of a good craftsman!
