Greg is an old fashioned skilled furniture restorer. We asked him to repair and polish a walnut tallboy wardrobe that used to belong to my partner's grandfather. It was scratched , the back was coming off and a door was off its hinges. Greg lovingly restored it. He stripped it back and stained it. We don't live near by and so we communicated by text message when decisions needed to be made. He sent videos so that we could see progress and made suggestions regarding stains etc. The end result is a beautifully restored, usable, tallboy. Thank you, Greg!

Chairs both repaired beautifully.

Although Greg's workshop was 50 minutes away from our home. It was worth the trip. Moving house in November 2025 one of my small side living tables got slightly damage. He did a wonderful job of stripping down the damaged area and repairing. Table is back and I'm very happy with his work. I would hesitate to use his skills again.

I had a Davenport in a very sorry condition. Greg took it and restored it magnificently - it is back to its old glory. Greg communicated well throughout the work. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Greg Wright restored a much loved antique chair for me which was damaged. It was complicated but he explained to me exactly how he would do it; he kept me informed all the time while he worked on it, even sending me a video of his progress. Greg had responded quickly to my request for help and collected the chair, returning it again soon, looking better than it had for as long as I could remember. He is a true craftsman.
