I'm very grateful to Lee and Michael for their work rebuilding a rear porch with staircase, together with roofing, fencing and rendering works. Communication was always prompt and helpful and they were both really considerate whilst working, much appreciated. Michael and Lee carried out building work in our kitchen, blocking an outside door and fitting a RSJ. Always arrived promptly and left every day after clearing up. It's always a pretty difficult decision choosing the right builders for your project. We spoke to about 3-4 before going with Green Builders. It's obvious from their reviews that they're great at what they do and we're so glad we went with them. Michael and Lee were really nice, punctual, didn't leave any mess and did a great job. We're thrilled with the work Michael & Lee has carried out. An extension & re-jig of internal walls that has left us with an amazing space for family occasions. Hi, my name is Michael and I am the Managing Director of Green Builders Sussex Ltd. My building career started as soon as I left school and for 10 years I worked alongside my father in his own building company, gaining valuable insight into all aspects of the building industry. Armed with the knowledge that gave me the confidence to take my career forward, I branched out as a sole trader for a number of years and then in 2013 set up Green Builders Sussex Ltd. One by one as my three boys left school, and once they went through college, like myself, they too joined their father and began their own journey in the building trade. I also hope that one day my 16yr old grandson will be joining us too!
When needed, I also have a select group of gas & electrical contractors,(sub-contractors) some of which I have built up trusted relationships with for over 20 years. All hold the relevant up-to-date certification, such as NICIEC and Gas Safe. When working alongside us, you will always see the same high level of commitment and workmanship that you would expect from Green Builders.
As a family-run company, we are committed to achieving 100% customer satisfaction in every project we undertake. All contracts are managed by myself, ensuring a one-to-one service from start to finish. Through our wealth of experience, our belief in the products we use, the team spirit and love for the work we do; we believe you will have complete confidence in us right from the very start.
We hold a strong environmental ethos and to back this up, where possible, we endeavour to recycle all waste products produced. Our aim for 2020 is to recycle 90% of the waste we generate, and to help achieve this we are working alongside a reputable Brighton-based recycling company. All waste is removed by skip, or by our own tipping vehicle, to their recycling centre and then only biodegradable waste is then sent to landfill.
We liaise closely with building control and adhere to all current building regulations.
