  Rebuilding / repairing front wall and repointing and laying of patio steps

  A good experience from start to finish. Adrian responded to my initial voicemail within 30 minutes, and was able to come and assess the work to be done that same afternoon. Quote arrived promptly within 24 hours. Timescales were discussed to carry out the work which Adrian started circa 10 days later as agreed. Job itself was to rebuild part of our damaged front wall, various re-pointing work and relaying patio steps. Adrian arrived promptly on each day and was very polite and courteous through-out. Very happy with the work done, and would not hesitate to recommend and use Adrian again.

  Replacing row of crumbling bricks under front porch

  Adrian cut out all the damaged row of bricks and replaced them with new matching bricks - am absolutely delighted at the result, it looks terrific. Great workmanship, and Adrian was friendly, efficient, responsive and very professional from my very first contact right through to completion. If I have any other brickwork needing doing in the future I will definitely contact Adrian again.

  Repointing at front of house

  Adrian was very reliable and professional in all our dealings. He carried out the repointing and replacement of some damaged bricks to a high standard in the agreed time frame and in line with his quotation. Adrian was courteous and friendly throughout and gave some helpful advice. We would have no hesitation in using him for any further work required.

  Repair to pointing

  Adrian was really knowledgeable and made light work of all the pointing repairs on our maisonette. He gave some good advice for the future as well. I’d definitely call him if we needed any further work doing.

  Removing wall after Storm Eunice

  I contacted Gold Star as we had a brick wall that was leaning and partially collapsed due to Storm Eunice. Ade came over and was able to assist that afternoon, a great relief as the wall backed onto a public footpath and was dangerous. Ade dismantled our wall, made it safe and provided us with a quote for reinstatement which has been submitted to our insurers. Upon hearing of our misfortune a neighbour independently sent us details about a builder they had used and recommended...it was Gold Star.
