I will be contacting Checkatrade to make a formal complaint.
Company charged £456 fee upfront for inspection. Despite me highlighting the rat activity was downstairs near the kitchen/main drain they decided to go up to the attic and install traps (after 3 weeks of chasing them the traps were collected and were empty).
Told I would need to pay a further £400+ for camera inspection (Why wasn't this done initially?) and the to pay for the treatment on top of that.
They have offered to refund £342 of the initial fee I paid (still waiting for this refund).

Thank you for your review. We charged £380+VAT for a 4-visit rodent treatment. Activity was found in the loft, so traps were correctly placed. With no visible entry points, we recommended a drain survey. You chose to cancel, so we refunded the 3 unused visits. As explained, refunds are processed at month-end. We wish you the best with resolving the issue and would strongly recommend proceeding with a drain survey to identify the source of the activity.
