10 Packing and house move

Gary and the 4 man team turned up at 8:30am and had the whole 4 bed house packed in 3.5 hours on the Thursday and then had us moved out of the house by 9:30am on the Friday, ready to wait for the new house keys. They were polite, careful and friendly. I used Gary and his team for a big move, and I was very happy with the experience. I needed temporary storage, and the company’s facility were secure and clean. They offered flexible storage options, which was a lifesaver when my new home wasn’t ready . The items stayed in perfect condition, and I felt assured knowing they were being taken care of. When it was time for the delivery, everything arrived on schedule and was placed exactly where I wanted. Goldfish were excellent throughout the whole process from quoting to moving us into our new home. I had used them previously nine years ago and they were as good as ever this time. This was a more complicated move and we used their storage facility for five months whilst our new build was completed. The team were great both moving us in and out and there was no damage to any of our possessions and no knocks to walls. We all know that moving to a new house can be stressful enough, let alone having to pack everything away and then securely and safely wrap items up in bubble wrap and other wrapping to make sure your items don’t break, then having to put your wrapped items into the boxes. It’s a never-ending circle having to wrap, pack then unpack and unwrap when you reach your new house.
GoldFish Moving & Storage offer a service which not only means we come and carry your items from your home into the van or lorry and carry them and put them in your new home, but we can also wrap and pack all your items safely away for you, saving you the hassle and time. GoldFish take full liability of your items when your items are in our care, so if anything does go wrong, if one of your items gets broken or damaged we will pay to get the item repaired or replaced if possible.
Finding a removal company can be the hard part, you want someone you trust to look after your belongings so that’s why many people move their own belongings using a hire van or even their car. Of course, this takes more effort and time but sometimes it’s the only way to know your belongings are looked after how you expect them to be looked after.
