We did full house refurbishment. We were in rush to move to our new house and someone referred us to Golden Star. The whole team worked in very professional manner and everything planned well to complete the project in timely manner. Very happy with their service and finish.

We hired them for a project, and while they were cooperative, we had to stop work due to concerns over their lack of knowledge of UK building regulations. They initially covered waste and water pipes with the dug-out cement instead of proper bedding but amended it after we raised concerns. They also failed to test the pipes before covering. A plumber later found a pressure drop of 0.2 bar every 24 hours over 10 days, but their plumber denied an issue. With conflicting opinions and the builders still requesting payments, we ask Checkatrade to review the evidence or arrange a third-party assessm
