    Recommended but agree the rate in advance

    Their work was excellent and they were the most responsive of all the companies I contacted. However, beware that they charge more if an apprentice comes out as well and they also charge more for evenings and weekends. So make sure you agree the hourly rate before they start as they don't tell you this until the end.

Just to clarify for future customers, we do not charge extra for an apprentice attending a job. Apprentices work under direct supervision and are part of our normal service. As is standard across the industry, work carried out outside normal working hours (evenings, weekends, or emergency call-outs) is charged at a higher rate, and we always recommend agreeing this in advance before work starts.     Gas safety certificate

    The guys did a decent job, however the operation was a bit chaotic. During the original arrangement we rearranged the time slot due to some hiccough in their planning, on the day they were delayed by some other means and I had to chase them up regarding the invoice and actual certificate

    Responsive, got the boiler down on monday, he came for a quote on tuesday and had and availability to replace the boiler on thursday. Good communication, good work

    New combi-boiler

    Gareth and his team were initially called out due to leak from the boiler flue and were quick to analyse the issue, get the gas back on for other appliances and run a full check of the boiler and immersion. What I was most grateful for was the level of detail and explanation, as well as clear options for what I could do next. At no point did I feel pressured into any option or that they would carry out the work. I ended up having a new combi-boiler installed. The work took 3 days (as quoted) and was done to a very high standard. He has been communicative with all the follow up Qs too.
