    Locked my keys in my car

    I had locked myself keys in my car and after giving Gary a phone at 8 at night he told me that he would give a go, thankfully he came and got the keys back for me. He came with half an hour a saved me a lot off money, can’t thank him enough and would highly recommend him to anyone who has similar issue.

    Both Gary and his son Kyle were courteous and professional. They carried out the work to a good standard and kept me up to date with information regarding spare parts and arrival times. I would not hesitate in recommending GI Lock and Safe for locksmith work and would happily use them again

    Locked out of my house.

    I was very impressed by the service the company provided when I needed them at my business premises last year so I had no hesitation in contacting GL Lock And Safe Ltd again when I found myself in need of someone who could get me into my house on a Saturday evening as the lock was faulty and then returned the Sunday to fit a new door mechanism. This company are honest, reliable and will go above and beyond to help you with minimum fuss not to mention they do not charge extortionate prices for their highly professional service.

    Broken cylinder needed replacing in locked door.

    Phoned to say my locked door wouldn’t open and the team arrived within 20mins. After replacing the lock with an upgraded part they then took the time to explain how the lock worked and showed me how to replace my other locks myself. Excellent service thank you.

Hi, just a wee post to tell people about myself and my company. I have worked in the security industry for over 14 years from moving safes to picking locks and everything in between.

I am open 24/7, so if you are locked out in the middle of the night don’t hesitate to give me a call! I would be more than happy to come out and get you back into your home.

I am a small family run business so would never over charge a customer as reputation is everything to me and my business. I have put my heart and soul into my work and am looking forward to what the future will bring.

I am fully insured. I have worked all over Scotland, removing / installing safes from 50kg - 3000kg. I have done countless locksmith courses that cover almost every type of lock from run of the mill locks to high security locks.

I specialize in:

  • Cylinder locks
  • Leaver locks
  • Dimple locks
  • Any other locks you can think of non-Destructively (which means you can still use the lock and no need to replace said lock- saving you money)
  • I can change locks on your door if you wish as I always carry a lot of stock on my van.
  • I also change gear boxes / mechanisms on UPVC doors and unjam any UPVC doors that might have become stuck.
  • I also carry replacement handles in my stock if you need your door handles / window handles replaced and if I don’t have the exact replacement, I aim to have them within 24 hours (if not same day).
