George was great! He built custom bathroom storage and installed a new door. He took great care to protect our property throughout the project, and his friendly, communicative approach made us feel confident and involved every step of the way. His attention to detail was outstanding. We'd highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

George King self employed and proprietor of G K Carpentry recently to came to our house to replace a kitchen cupboard door beneath the sink unit which had been accidentally broken off by the hinges being dislodged. I found George very conscientious in his attitude and very polite. He completed the task having attended to it in the evening after a full day’s work. I have no hesitation in recommending him should you need any work done of a carpentry nature, large or small.

George recently fitted a staircase in the annex of my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, he was professional, reliable, and clearly very skilled at his trade. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered helpful advice throughout the process, and delivered a finish that exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is top-notch – solid, tidy, and built to last. He kept everything clean and organised, and the job was completed on time. It’s not always easy finding someone you can trust with this kind of work, but George was brilliant!

Fitted additional hand rails to stairs. Original quote was accurate. George was very helpful giving good and sound advice on many occasions while discussing the job. The job was completed to a high standard and after George had tidied up ,you would not have known he had ever been there . Would definitely have him again ,from now on any Carpentry work I need doing will be done by GK Carpentry .

I had a problem with the alignment of the french doors on my wooden conservatory, so raised a request for help via ‘check a trade’ . George called me back by return and came round swiftly to review the issue which he then sorted out for me. I found George to be extremely professional and very courteous. I am very happy to recommend him to others.
