George and Andrew worked efficiently and neatly, to complete the job. Site cleared up afterwards. All at agreed price and to timetable. Very happy to recommend

George Hick Brickwork just finished a new patio for me and fixed two old walls. They have done a brilliant job and have transformed my old decking that was falling apart to something that looks stunning. I’m really happy with the work they’ve done and found their prices reasonable as well. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs a bricky.

This family business helped me out of a very terrible situation. A car came down my drive at speed and crashed into my wall and finished embedded in the front of my car. A third of of the wall was flatemed and the rest was off of the foundations. At first, every one I contacted was unable to help until I found George Hick Brickwork. They did the estimate and I had it aproved. They cleared the site without any delay and gave me an estimate for it to be rebuilt. I managed to get two more quotes but they had the best. They built the 18m and 6ft high wall perfectly and I was very pleased.

Arrived over an hour late with no prior notice. The brickwork appears reasonable, but I started with one problem and have been left with another — the gate latch was removed and not reattached, leaving the gate unable to close. No warning was given. Before paying, I asked over text if the gate latches. I was told it closes. Upon inspection, this was not the case. I paid £270 expecting a fully functioning boundary. After ignoring my message for a week and requiring a follow-up, he has refused to take accountability.

We contacted George Hick Brickwork after spotting a scary looking crack in the brickwork at the front of our house. George came round promptly and was instantly reassuring and explained the remedial work that would need doing. George is incredibly knowledgeable and it is clear to see he is passionate about his work. When George and his Dad came back to complete the job they worked hard and efficiently and have done a fantastic job. Really happy to have found them and will definitely use them again if the need arises.
