Phil and his team upgraded our 4-car garage into temporary living space after our house was destroyed by fire in Jan. 2025. We needed on-site accommodation urgently and Phil kindly fitted in the work around his ongoing commitments. He offered invaluable advice on how best to insulate and design the space and then delivered the upgrade in a very cost-effective and timely way. Phil and his team were very friendly, flexible and easy to work with. This was extremely important for us given the stress we were under in the aftermath of the fire.

The team were helpful, punctual, tidy and professional. We're thrilled with our kitchen, and Phil even came back 3 years later to look at a leak in our roof for us as a favour. Very much recommend.

Phil is a great person and a builder the work his team carried out was excellent, his team were completely reliable and left everything tidied away and very clean keeping them informed on a daily basis. Very impressed, would recommend without hesitation and already engaged with Phil again for the extension project.

I engaged Phil from General Building to build my rear extension. Phil and his team started mid july and very pretty much done by end sept, came back in mid dec after other trades were done to finish off the work. 1. Phil and team were onsite, on-time every single day. There were no stoppages except for weather 2. Worked very well with the other trades I engaged (UFH/Heat pump, Kitchen, tiler,decorator) 3. Always focussing on getting it right first time with top quality. I will gladly recommend Phil for any building work.

We highly recommend Phil and his whole team. From quote to completion - they were polite, friendly, approachable and the quality of work was carried out to an excellent standard. Communication was mainly through Phil’s wife Kelly over email who is lovely, helpful and kept us up to date on changes, timeframes and any unexpected extra costs throughout the build which was appreciated. The build itself went fairly smoothly and we were pleased with how they communicated with our neighbours. We are very happy with our kitchen extension and recommend Phil and his team for any project without hesitation!

Right from the word go, this company were so professional and impressive. We received the quote for the work relatively quickly and we were happy to proceed. The job itself was not a difficult one but none the less it needed to be executed correctly so the new door and window we were having made , would fit . They also did some ground work for us , which was excellent. We would use this company again and highly recommend them.
