We had a tricky build on our hands with planning permission requirements, shared drains across the properties and absolutely no knowledge or experience in this area. GDS construction were recommended through a contact of ours and were brilliant from beginning to end. Helpful, knowledgeable and determined to solve any problem, tidy, professional, friendly and courteous and respectful of our home (even when it was a building site).

The building work was very efficient and quick with the only delays caused by sub zero weather. When problems were encountered Gary and Graham solved them cleverly and effectively. Really appreciated the team’s flexibility, quality and care throughout. We were kept up to date at each stage of the process. We couldn’t recommend GDS Constuction more highly. We had four builders quoting for the work. Narrowed it to two … and were delighted that we chose Gary/GDS. The GDS team completed a large single-storey extension on my detached house. They were helpful and completed the work to a high standard. The extension included plumbing, flooring, kitchen fitting, and all structural work. Gary, the manager, was available by phone to support and manage the project. Even after the work was finished, Gary continued to assist with the snagging list to ensure everything was completed properly.

I was very pleased with my garage conversion. Everything was carried out to a high spec, exactly how I wanted it and altered without any problem if I didn’t like what I had chosen. All the different tradesmen took pride in their work.

Gary's team were courteous and skilled workers. Mostly they communicated well and work was done on time. We are very pleased with the result.
