    Block Paved Driveway - Highly Recommend

    We had our driveway block paved by GDR. From initial enquiry to job completion Gareth and his team were excellent. Clear communication and kept me involved in any decisions that needed to be made and explained clearly the options we had. My neighbours have commented on how hard Gareth and his team worked and what a great high standard job they did. We are delighted, highly recommend.

    Professional, friendly guys.

    Gareth and his team were brilliant. They worked solidly for a week, transforming our ancient, neglected tarmac driveway. Any issues (eg a drain problem) were discussed and resolved. We’re thrilled with the results and can’t recommend GDR driveways highly enough.

    Gareth and his amazing team at GDR Driveways truly saved the day after a cowboy landscaper left me in a mess. They worked incredibly hard—even through horrendous weather without complaint—and created the garden of my dreams within the agreed timeframe. Their professionalism, politeness, and respect for my property shone through, and they left everything spotless at the end of each day. The quality of their craftsmanship is outstanding, yet their prices are unbeatable. I’m over the moon with the results and have already booked them for another project. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

    Paving between 2 houses

    We needed a stoney area between 2 houses paving. I contacted Gareth @ GDR Driveways who came out to assess the job and give us a reasonable price to do the work. We gave GDR Driveways the go ahead and they've done a great job. Now that the flags are down, it looks much cleaner and tidier and we're pleased with it. GDR Driveways were quick and efficient and tidied up after themselves.

GDR Driveways are an independent business based in Wigan and operating across the North West. We specialize in the design, replacement and installation of driveways and patio’s using a range of materials including Block Paving, Flags and Indian Stone. The company is owned and operated by Gareth Dickinson - Managing Director - A qualified Paver/Roadworker by trade, I also do Projects as private works which include Block paving, Fencing and Indian Stone. With over 25 years experience in the industry, quality is assured. Currently, the company works on behalf of several councils where work is subbed out to myself and my employees. I also carry out work on various building sites. As part of the company, we have an ongoing Health and Safety policy and schedule. This is to ensure that both employees and members of the public are safe at all times.

The company also includes two laborers within the team enabling larger projects to be undertaken quickly/ on an urgent basis.

We provide the following services:

  • Driveways - Our driveways are the best in town: Block paving Flagging Indian stone.
  • Pavements - We provide pavement installation and maintenance at affordable prices to get you to and get you around your home.
