  George re-fitted a tricky door (unusual size and surrounds), excellent work with all areas 'made good' where old lock/handle was. Super tidy and very happy with the job, thank you George and highly recommended.

  Custom kitchen and utility units

  George built a custom cupboard in the downstairs toilet and boxed in our tumble dryer, adding a worktop on top. Communication was great and he was very flexible. The work is superb and exactly what I wanted.

  Outstanding carpenter/ general builder

  Outstanding service in all respects from GD Carpentry. Name under which this guy trades doesn’t do him justice; Yeah he’s an ace-carpenter, but he can seemingly do everything! Have now employed “George” on a number of occasions and each time he has OVERdelivered. Nothing seems to phase this guy and he’s an absolute perfectionist. Give him a basic idea of what you want done and he delivers. Ask for his input and he excels - AND delivers on time. Really, really friendly and honest as the day is long. Frankly I dread the day he retires!

  I had a bespoke workshop built in my garden by GD Carpentry. I am overwhelmingly pleased with it. We discussed everything beforehand and I told George exactly what I needed. George's work ethic is something rarely seen. At the end of each day he cleaned up after himself. If something needed delivering, he made sure he was there to take that delivery. He kept me informed everyday with what he was doing and what he would be doing the following day. Very polite and trustworthy guy. I would highly recommend.

  George at GD carpentry and building services recently helped carried out some carpentry work on our property. George was very professional and punctual, he gave us a competitive price and his work was superb. George created our dream media wall, he made our thoughts into reality. George also created custom shaker doors for a shelving unit and also custom made understairs doors from MDF. I would 100% recommend George and will defo be using him again in the future.
