  Very professional job from booking the works to doing the repairs and discussing future potential surface repairs to a chandelier, Gheorghe was super helpful and delivered on his promises. He is very interested and skilled in carrying out repairs for items that are often thrown away, so am pleased to have his expertise for making do and mending. Highly recommend!

  Refurbish kitchen sink and sideboard top

  Very keen to please which meant taking on some work that he didn't have enough experience in. To his credit he returned to redo the sink when it started to peal very quickly but the second attempt using a different technique is failing too. The repair of a sun affected, veneered sideboard top, resulted in the use of a tinted paint to match the wood. If I had been told in advance I would not have let him do this. The result is awful as it looks painted. It would have been better to stain the light area to match the dark rather than paint over the whole. This showed a lack of experience.

  I’m truly sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction after nearly three months. I fully understand your concerns and would like to address them once again in a clear and constructive manner. From the very beginning, I explained that the veneer on the piece was extremely thin and had been deeply affected by prior damage. Unfortunately, this type of material cannot be fully restored to its original state, as the damage had already compromised its structure. Given these limitations, the only viable solution was to apply a color over the surface in an attempt to achieve a uniform appearance. While I understand that the result may not meet your expectations, this approach was chosen as the most practical and cost-effective way to preserve the piece. I regret that you feel this solution did not fully resolve the issue, but I hope you can understand that the options were limited due to the condition of the veneer. Please know that your feedback is valuable, and I will take it into account to continue improving my work. Wishing you good health and all the best moving forward.

  I am very pleased about the work has been done by GCB Magic Repairs. I highly recommend for any damages on your home. GCB Magic did several repairs on a broken bathroom natural stone, some chipped wooden floor, scratches on walnut doors, armorecoat tidy up, cracks on tiles etc.
