After seeing photos of what had to be done GC came to fix the appliances. It took him most of the afternoon to fix the bathroom fan so he came back next day to finish the job. I alerted GC that there might be cables behind the wall so he said he was not happy to drill. I got a gadget from a neighbour to detect where the cables are. Instead of GC coming back to finish the job he called and was asking me where exactly the cables were even though he knew I had the gadget. He left me with a mess and hasn't called me back after he received £120 deposit which he had asked for. He used my ladder 😔

Our dishwasher did not work because of a faulty door lock switch (i had already bought the spare parts). This was fixed quickly and dishwasher was checked that it worked. Communication was very clear regarding cost and and service was prompt.

Glenn took time to find out what the problem was and recommended a solution. He was prompt, polite and on time. I recommend him.

I went through the checkatrade app and I received 2 responses within the hour of my post. G C Appliance was the quickest to respond and was able to come around to assess on the same day. He is knowledgeable and safely move our integrated freezer out to assess the issue. He correctly identified the gas compressor was not on and the most likely issue was down to a faulty control panel. He needed to source the parts before he could complete the job of replacing our control panel on a different day. His labour is one payment which includes call out and the separate day to fix our freezer.
