I was apprehensive about getting quotes for replacing my concrete driveway with block paving, as a lot of paving companies do not have a positive reputation. My apprehension was immediately gone as soon as GB surfacing arrived to do my quote. The staff member was in a branded van, dressed for the occasion in proper workwear and had all the correct tools for measuring and taking details. The lads who did the work were all professional, polite and hardworking. They too were dressed in proper PPE (which you don’t see with a lot of paving companies). Very happy recommend them!

The job started while we were away and most of the work was nearly completed when we arrived back home. There was a miscommunicated/misunderstanding with one area of the job, however this was sorted immediately with no issues. The lads on the job worked really hard throughout and the job was completed at a very high standard. We are over the moon and very proud of our new drive - Amalfi Block Paving Drive. Everyone who passed our house have all said how nice our drive looked. We would definitely highly recommend this company.

GB Surfacing restored a small area of block paving which had subsided in places. Communication was good, the work was done on time and more importantly to a high standard. We were very pleased with the work done and would have no hesitation in using them again

From the start to the end they communicated well, always letting me know when they would be on site and checked with questions at each stage of the project I was really pleased with each phase of my garden and driveway. It was a really large project that evolved over time and they always listened to my feedback and came up with solutions and were clear with cost changes. The quality of the finished work was great. I did a lot of research before choosing GB Surfacing.I checked reviews I checked with companies House to see where the registered office was.I also contacted Tarmac suppliers.I got 3 quotes two of the firms I got quotes from were members of checkatrade which I also liked.Gary came to measure and quote I wanted Red tarmac.The quote was emailed to me it summarised the work to be done and the possibility of additional charges.The quote was concise and professional .All 3 quotes came back and surprisingly there was a £12.000 difference between the three.The work was completed within 3 weeks of th
