  Mike was not only reasonable with the cost, he carried out the work to a high standard. Mike was solely focused on my project and not doing multiple jobs at the same time as is the case with some other trades. He organised all of the associated trades as well. Nothing was too much trouble. We subsequently had an issue with the fitment of a kitchen work surface ( water was causing bubbling). Mike came and fixed the issue promptly at his cost with no arguments. Would thoroughly recommend using Gavin Bros.

  New doorway with lintel in supporting wall

  Job was done exactly as planned and quoted for. Work was finished to a very high standard, and the walls just needed painting afterwards, the plastering was an excellent finish. Very considerate to people living in the house, really tidy and all waste taken away in a skip which Mike organised. Highly recommended, will definitely use again for the next project.

  We were always kept informed of the work in progress and made aware of anything that needed to be addressed.By far a excellent builder who takes pride in his work Could not wish for a better builder .Thank you so much for your hard work and giving us a superb extention.

  Gutting and refurbishment of a property

  We have used Mike for 3 jobs - an extension on our house, and 2 gutting/refurbishment of HMOs. Mike is a competent builder who ensures that everything is done properly and reasonably. He manages the trades well and keeps you informed of any glitches, issues arising along the way. By his own admission he is not a decorator, so it is better to source that elsewhere. We would certainly use him again.
