    We had a leak in a pipe under the concrete floor in the hall.

    The leak was traced and repaired with minimum disruption. The engineer explained what he was going to do before the work commenced and kept us informed all the way through to completion. We were very pleased with the way he carried out his job.

    Professional cost effective leak detection and fixing service

    Central heating leak in a concrete floor. On contacting Gate Leak Detection a clear initial explanation of the service provided given with a break down of the costs, followed by a full quote by email. On the day, arrived early and got straight down to work, explaining as the work progressed and happy to answer any questions. Leak found, fixed and central heating heating system re-commissioned. Cleared up after. All in all a totally professional job. Couldn't have asked for a better service

    Simply the best - more than 5*

    Following a really appalling experience with a different leak detection company, I contacted Greg via Checkatrade. Not only was he reassuring, he promised to find my leak no matter what. Richie came today - he was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely competent. He located the leak accurately; fixed it and cleaned up properly. A comprehensive report will help me to claim my leak allowance from my water company. I only paid upon completion. I thank both Greg and Richie sincerely for their outstanding service and for going over and above to locate and fix my leak

I’m really glad we were able to attend, find the issue and fix it on the same day. I know it was a stressful situation for you, so I’m pleased we could get it sorted.     Central heating leak

    We had a problem with our boiler losing pressure that hadn't been resolved despite using other leak detection companies. Greg was extremely helpful, explaining the process clearly, talking through the costs and reassuring us. Richie came out on Saturday and was an absolute legend!! He worked for 10 hours to diagnose the leak, which turned out to be very complicated due to our suspended floor. He did have to take up some floorboards to fix the leak which turned out to be a leaky pipe from an old radiator, Everything was made good and tidied up before he left. I highly recommend this company.

    From talking through the issue over the phone with Greg, his knowlege professionalism & reassurance was great. He explained in detail the process, price & service. Everything backed up by email & quotation. He gave such reassurance in a stressful time that everything would be OK & he could find & fix the problem & he did. The attention given to providing informative photos, videos & a report of his work, for insurance purpose, gave me full confidence in a stressful time. Greg travelled two hours to support us, a true testament to his word & trust in his service. Thank you so much Greg

    Great service, did what that said they would in double quick time.

    A couple of internal water leaks had caused some damage and were causing my boiler to lose pressure. Gate's excellent reviews interested me, as well as the fact they are leak specialists. Greg was very pleasant and assured me they could find and fix the leaks. He also fully explained their pricing structure. They were able to visit quickly. Richie was the plumber who attended. He was very pleasant, polite and professional. His test quickly found the leak in the bathroom, repaired it, and replaced a leaking radiator valve. All sorted, with a full report provided. Great service.
