Job location: NE24The Energy Experts installed a FoxESS Hybrid system with 12 panels. Of the three contractors I obtained quotes from, The Energy Experts were the most competitive, and I wanted to give the work to a local firm. This turned out to be the correct decision, as when their installer identified that some remedial work was necessary on the roof, they were able to recommend a builder who came to survey the same day. Ian and the team then fitted the PV system and it has worked flawlessly from day one. The wiring was installed neatly and meticulously with all switches clearly labelled.10 Excellent work and aftercare

I had an 8kw solar system with batteries for me. Their performance from initial quotation to installation and commissioning was exemplary. They gave installation dates and met them. We had 15 panels and 2 batteries installed by The Energy Experts. They were the last of four I quoted, but after speaking with Dave I’d already decided—professional and straightforward. Unlike the other three, they install themselves rather than subcontracting, which mattered to me. Price was competitive and only slightly higher; given I’m about six hours away, the extra cost was reasonable. A few snags and delays (DNO, holidays, early 2026 weather) were resolved quickly, and the system worked from day one. As we said, we do not believe in salespeople, so we offer a very simple process:
1. Contact us (basic information)
2. We will set up a short remote appointment. This will provide you with an in-depth illustration, using industry-leading design software, to fit exactly with your property. A site survey will be arranged if required.
3. An Electronic detailed proposal will be issued, and we’ll discuss this with you to ensure you are happy with the details.
4. Only when you are completely satisfied, we will issue a contract for the work, giving you a 7-day cooling-off period, and we will require a deposit, which is protected.
