Steven replaced a combi boiler for us. He was easy to communicate with, and prompt in his replies. His quotes (we asked for a few quotes for different boilers) were all fair and competitive. I’ve never used check a trade before ; I’m pleased I did , Steve rang me back about my boiler ; as I explained I had no hot water ; it was Saturday ; Steve explained what the problem was ; said it would need at least a valve part ( wouldn’t have got it Sat afternoon or Sunday ; keep the water topped up ( kept the heating on ) . Steve came Monday , went to get the parts , fixed it within 2 hours ; clearly enjoys his job, knows what he’s doing up to date on safety , gas registered .
