Professional, I can't praise Front Line and John highly enough. The whole team, were polite and clearly cared about every aspect of the job, the attention to detail even carried through to the clean up operation at the end of the day, amazing. Excellent communication: talking with neighbours keeping them appropriately in the loop, the foreman Roman was great sending me photos at every stage of the job. John was even great with my embarrassing lack of tec skills, very patient, a genuine caring guy. I wholeheartedly recommend him as trustworthy.

Like others, we ended up paying ALOT more than expected. Repairs to a tiled area 5m x 1m on front of house. Originally quoted £444 inc VAT (based on photo). This shot up to £2,016 inc VAT when John inspected the area close-up from a ladder (and now needed scaffolding). We reluctantly agreed. Less than 1/2 hour after the scaffolding had gone up, John said we would need to spend more than double - £4,320 inc VAT. With the scaffolding already up, we felt backed into a corner. A firm quote should have been possible after inspection on the ladder. This was a very bad experience.

We posted the potential work on Checkatrade, and John from Front Line Roofing & Building Ltd responded quickly on WhatsApp. We discussed the work needed on the phone, and I sent photos. Costs and schedule were clear, and the scaffolding was installed on time. The work also started on time, and despite bad weather, was completed within a week. Communication was very good during the work as things developed, with regular photos issued by John. All in all I’m very happy with the work done, and would contact Front Line again if any further work were needed.

This company surveyed my roof , took photographs which they showed me and later invited me to view from the scaffolding .I was sent pictures of the completed work and also given a 5 year guarantee although some of the work will likely last for many years. cracked tiles were also replaced and I was left with some spares as they are difficult to source now. All the work was expertly done and the team were also nice people. Everything was tidied up before they left. Some friends and neighbours are now thinking about their properties.
