The previous supply to this garage had been a standard PVC cable that was not big enough to meet the demand and kept tripping out due to damage. We upgraded it to a thicker steel wire armoured cable that will keep it safe from harm as it is running outside. Another fuse board upgraded to meet the latest safety regulations. There were no safety trips on the old one which meant that a fault on the shower cable burnt out a switch and could’ve caused a fire! Get in touch if you think your fuse box is old and needs upgrading.
Another consumer unit upgraded to a new RCBO board, no more problems with one safety switch controlling all the circuits. If a light bulb blows it won't turn off all the sockets with it.
