  Competent, reliable and helpful

  I am very pleased with the jobs that James has done for me since November 2025. So far he has boarded my loft, put laminate flooring down in my entrance and installed a shed (with platform) in my garden. He has shown himself to be reliable, helpful, approachable and efficient.

  Delivered beyond expectations on a tight deadline

  I found James on Checkatrade for a last minute project in Bedford with a tight deadline and some compliance issues. He responded quickly, met me on site at short notice, and took the time to really understand and advise on the project. The quote was prompt, fair, and clearly thought through. The work covered both internal and external elements and the finish exceeded expectations, especially given the time pressure. Everything was completed on time and communication was excellent throughout. I would highly recommend him.

  Open plan stud wall and flooring

  I had a open plan stud wall put up to segregate part of my living room into a gaming area for my son. The work carried out was done promptly and to a high standard. I also had new skirting, some door moldings and laminate flooring done. Everything that was done was done to a high standard and with a very friendly approach. I would highly recommend and certainly use them again for any upcoming projects

  Can’t recommend Foster and Sons enough! Excellent in all departments, very accommodating, punctual, workmanship, very reasonable pricing and leaves the workspace tidier than he finds it! The world needs decent hard-working trades people, and this is certainly one of them!
