    Carl was fantastic from start to finish. He did some wallpapering and painting for us - both were finished to an extremely high standard. I had accidentally ordered one roll less than required - Carl spotted this very quickly in the process, so we were able to order an extra roll. This took a little while to arrive, and Carl was so understanding and patient with us. When Carl was doing to work, he was very friendly and polite. Our nosey cat was a huge fan of Carl as well! 100% would have Carl back in the future - he is great!

    Carl was great! Communicated well and in advance, let me know the price ahead of time, got the job done well and really quickly. Very friendly and enthusiastic, I'd definitely recommend Carl to friends :) The pattern on my wallpaper is super detailed and the matching Carl managed to get was really good.

    My brief was to decorate lounge, stairs, landing and bedrooms. Which covered all walls, ceilings and woodwork. Excellent service received from quote to finish and really impressed with the quality of work. Any issues along the way were fully communicated and resolved satisfactorily!

Forbes Decor has generally been a local business, specialising in pudsey and surrounding areas, although i have worked nationwide on various projects.

I have been a decorator by trade for the last 22 years.


I went into self employment pretty much from the start and have had a reasonably successful career in that time. I started mainly on domestic projects locally and expanded from there.


I have also worked with various other decorating firms on a sub-contract basis. This has involved projects with Tesco, Barclays, one-stop convenience stores, Texaco, Councils, police stations, prisons, student accommodation and local authority housing.


I like to think I am a perfectionist and I always like a job to be done to the best of my ability.
