The original pine flooring in the room had been badly damaged by lengthy use of a swivel desk chair without a protective mat. I thought it would be impossible to repair. Mark assessed the floor, said that he could sort out the problem and gave me a very reasonable quote. He also gave me a date on which he would do the work. He arrived punctually, got on with the job, was a pleasure to have in the house and two days later I had a perfect floor. It is impossible to see the earlier damage and the whole floor looks wonderful. I have invited him to restore a second floor damaged by time and use.

Book Mark you will not regret it. Amazing finish on some very old floor boards that cannot be faulted. Very experienced & friendly. He went further than expected and even did a hall flooring for free. Thank you so much for an amazing job.

We highly recommend Mark. He was a pleasure to interact with and he did an amazing job fixing, sanding and varnishing the wood floors in our bedrooms. One of the bedrooms in particular needed a fair bit of work (the floor was previously hidden under carpet which we removed when we moved in) and it is quite astonishing how good it looks now!

The floors needed a fair bit of prep before sanding. There was sticky residue on the floorboards from the old carpet. Some floorboards had to be partially replaced. The edge of the floorboards above the staircase had to be rounded off.
