  Wall repair

  Darryl expertly oversaw the repair of a wall that had a serious damp issue in my flat. It needed hacking back to the brick work, resealing, plastering and then repainting. He has done several jobs for my landlord over the years and always does an excellent job. Darryl has great eye for detail and always makes sure work is done properly, regularly following up to make sure everything is holding up as it should. He is also a delightful, kind person to have in your home!

  This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve used 1st stroke . I cannot recommend them highly enough . Darral is brilliant and has come to my rescue on many occasions

  1st Stroke was able to fit my job in at short notice as my job was small. They arrived within 2 days and the work was completed to a good standard, however I noticed a couple of issues after they left. Darrall promptly returned and addressed the outstanding issues. He even offered to come back and fix one of my cupboard doors free of charge. So he returned for a third time to fix the door and a remaining issue. For this attention to detail, customer service and aftercare I can highly recommend 1st Stroke Decorators.

  Painted walls, ceilings, and wood work. Great communication from the initial quote to completion. Everything looks very neat, including repairs to extensive staining from water damage due leak in the upstairs flat. Would highly recommend!
