We used them due to their recommendations on Checkatrade and they pretty much operated exactly how everyone else seems to have described them - that is that they gave a really good quote for the work, said they would be able to do it within the week. We agreed on the quote on Friday and the diggers came in on Monday!! They were very swift in their work (Firmstone look to employ a lot of people to come in and carry out the work with the minimum of fuss vs maybe a couple of people who will plod on with the job in hand) and clearly competent in whatt they do. The old driveway was dug up and a new resin bound one laid. An old front wall was also replaced. The work was professionally carried out at all stages and we are very pleased with the finished article.

Very impressed! Arranged for a quote and what we wanted the be done on the Saturday and on the Monday work started. We talked about what we wanted and what would look best for the property. Overall the whole job was completed in a week. Johnny checked in with us along the way to check take we were happy with the works progression and to keep us updated with the work schedule. The workers were very friendly and respectful of our property and worked hard. Very happy with our new driveway and would highly recommend Firmstone. Would use again

John and his sons were so polite, checked the job a few times a day, taking real pride in ensuring an outstanding job. Cant believe what was achieved in such a short time. So courteous, organised and a real pleasure to have work on my property. Everything was scheduled, delivered, checked, far more than I expected but then that’s probably why they have such great reviews on here! Will def use them again for other work.

We have recently had the above work completed and we are very pleased with Firmstone’s results. John and his team were hard working, polite, and very skilled in their work, building the diagonal pattern on the drive in next to no time once all the thorough prep work had been carried out. The way they communicated, listening to any minor suggested adjustments and then efficiently and professionally performed the job to high standard is to be commended. Firmstone have done several similar drives in the local area and I highly recommend using them.
