We found FDB very easy to communicate and work with. Work was carried out to high standard and to build programme. We added additional work to the remit as we went along, and FDB accommodated our requests, whilst also having some good ideas on design input. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Nik and his team have carried out extensive work on my property including significant repairs to all external walls, rendering and decorating, roof and chimney repairs, damp repairs and numerous emergency call outs for various other issues. Nik is reliable, knowledgeable and so reassuring no matter how serious the issue. He and his team are friendly, reliable and a joy to have around. I would not hesitate to recommend FDB to anyone with any building concerns, he is the font of all knowledge when it comes to buildings!

Biggest & most expensive regret we have ever made with the building trade and Nik has taken away our confidence. Niks builders did the foundations, put the walls and roof up, not straight, not square, & with a bow. He ordered the wrong size Windows/doors/glass but blamed the suppliers because he didn’t want to admit to his mistakes. He gets angry when asked challenging questions. Carpentry work was shoddy, and paint work was so gritty and poor that we had to have it paneled afterwards at an extra cost. A 3 month project, and 11months later, we had to put an end as it was too stressful for us.

Extremely disappointed with the service we have received!!! I can not be more angry and disappointed at the finishing part of our extension. Nik has pretty much walked away with not so much as an email for justification. Project not finished, no follow up communication. Would recommend avoiding at all costs!

Came and looked at job required, no quote sent

Nik from FDB Builder provided a very friendly advise on the work requested. The work was carries out professionally and overall quality of the work was good and professional. Nik is very responsive and prompt. The approval from building control took longer than expected due to building control requiring additional information which took a while to get. But finally got it and am overall very satisfied with the service provided. Will use them again.
