  Avoid fixed price quotes

  Be very wary of “fixed price” quotes from Fasciarite Roofing Ltd. We were quoted £ 2380.00 plus vat for a roof repair. Given that this work may have taken a couple of days, the price seemed a bit high but not unreasonable. The repair was completed in 4 hours, one of which was to source some materials. John Broadway, who represents Fasciarite Roofing Ltd, has refused to re-evaluate the bill, despite the diagnosis being wrong and the job taking 4 hours. His opinion is that we accepted a fixed price and that’s the end of it. Only engage this business on an hourly rate plus materials.

  I feel very disappointed, this customer had several roofers try and fix the problem but failed. We have given them a fixed price in writing before we started the job. They then excepted the quote and we did the work since then they’ve complained about the price we charged so I reduced my price as a good gesture and they were still not happy.

  Whole roof felt/batten replacement

  Shortly after moving into an old home,I originally contacted John regarding a couple of chimney issues to which he promptly came out to take a look and advise me on what needed doing. Upon inspecting the chimney and surrounding roof, John identified some rather large issues with the roof itself and advised on what was needed to bring it up to scratch. He presented a range of options and not once did I feel pressured into the most expensive route. His team handled the whole job efficiently with good communication from John and his team throughout the process.Thanks

  full house roof tiled/new fascia and guttering/chimney re-pointed

  These guys are proper tradesmen and great at the job they do. You are kept informed of how the job is going with photos on a daily basis. Any problems and they tell you.. The work is very good and efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone..

  New roof membrane, battens and tiles on detached bungalow. Also fascias etc.

  John and his team have just finished replacing our 60 yr old roof which had not to my knowledge ever had maintenance, and was leaking in multiple areas. Because of recent heavy rain they gave us maximum priority, doing the job as soon as weather permitted. Their working methods are superb. Neighbours were staring and commenting. They were charming, efficient and incredibly tidy, leaving no slightest mess or debris behind them. We're delighted with the result would recommend them to anyone seeking a roofer, whether the job is large or small.
