At EWS Tree Services Ltd we aim to provide our customers with the highest standard of work. All of our staff are NPTC qualified with many years experience within the Arboricultural industry. We regularly invest in our staff and equipment, which helps our work force undertake jobs safely and also to the highest industry standard BS3998. we also have public liability and employee liability insurance.

• Tree felling - which is where a tree is cut from the ground

• Tree dismantling-where a tree can’t be felled because of close proximity to either buildings or roads so has to be climbed and dismantled in small manageable pieces.

• Crown thinning- we can remove branches from within the trees crown which will help the tree look tidier and less congested.

• Dead wooding- this is where we remove dead branches from within the trees crown as they have potential to fall and cause harm.

• Crown reduction- some trees are sometimes a little to big for where they are, rather then remove the tree all together, we can reduce the size of the tree to make it look less menacing. We also reduce trees to help take the weight of the branches which can help prolong a trees life.

• Pollarding- this is a heavy form of reducing, we mainly do this to willow and lime trees as they can withstand such heavy pruning.

• Hedge cutting- we undertake all types of hedge trimming from back garden jobs to the trimming an tidying of business parks.

• Tree shear hire- which is an attachment fitted to our 8 tonne Bobact excavator. Its mainly used for reducing large sections of hedge rows for land owners and more recently, felling and removing Ash trees which have succumb to Ash Die Back.

• Vegetation management- mainly a term used in the utility industry, this is where we maintain large sections of trees and low growing vegetation for powerline and railway company’s. mainly using our tree shear.
