A simplified review but use Evoke at your own risk. Quoted for removal of all 4 walls plaster to be boarded and re plastered, only did 3 walls, plasterboard didn’t reach the ceiling which skimmed cracked. Joints in the plasterboard had not been joint skimmed and only one layer of thin plaster was applied resulting in cracks in every joint. Boards bounced when touched and the quality of the plaster was horrendous with over 80+ bad imperfections. Evoke eventually us in to paying and wouldn’t fix anything. Court it is.

Dave was very quick to come out and look at what was needed to remedy our very wet walls. He got back to us just as quickly with his estimate and came to do the work as soon as he was available. After taking off the old plaster, the walls were left to dry out for a week but then they were covered in a membrane and replastered within 3 days. A job well done. Our home is now dry and free of that nasty damp smell! We can definitely recommend Evoke Plastering from our experience.

Dave and Jordan have been excellent from start to finish. Very friendly and always on time. Their workmanship was spot on. I needed seven ceilings reboarded and skimmed aswell as walls repairing after a major water leak. Dave managed to work around the other trades people working in the house at the same time and even worked right through the Easter weekend to help me out.

Only issue was that no covering was put over worktops and flooring etc so needed to get cleaner afterwards.

Dave gave us a competitive quote so we hired him for the job. The work was completed on time and to a good standard. He has responded to any snags promptly and given advice as required.
