    I recently moved into a 1930's house that was desperately in need of being brought up to date. James gave the electrics for the whole house a health check and fixed all the problems, installed a new consumer unit, cabling and cooker plug and was able to give extra useful advice and guidance to an aspiring home renovater. I couldn't recommend him more and will definitely be giving him a call for any electrical work in the future.

    We called James in to identify why we had lights lit that were switched off. He identified that this was a 60 year old house that had been significantly extended and the electrics added to, piecemeal. The wiring and consumer unit were nowhere near coordinated or up to code. He found the fault and then fully explained to me a variety of options going forward and, with no pressure, allowed me to choose my preference. The work was completed on time and to budget. He was friendly, polite and professional in both his electrical work and administration. I would definitely use him again.

    Found the problem and resolved it.

    James was professional and successful in tracing and resolving a long-standing fault in a lighting circuit. Due to the nature of the problem, the job needed to be valued by the time taken to find the fault, which is perfectly reasonable. I would recommend Everyday Technology.
