  Pipework fixed and cavity walls filled

  I had pipes that had been chewed through by rodents, and Des responded incredibly quickly after I reached out. He fixed the issue efficiently and to a high standard. What really stood out was how proactive he was—he suggested filling in the cavity wall to stop rodents from getting in again and used steel wool to secure potential entry points, which was really thoughtful and practical. He also provided a warranty for the work, which gave me extra peace of mind. Overall, I’m very happy with the job Des did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others.

  Shower head fitting

  I initially left a positive review but did so too soon. The shower that was supposedly installed has no water flow. The installer claims this is an issue with the shower unit itself, but I can confirm that the problem lies in the way it was fitted. If a properly installed unit functions correctly for others, then the issue is clearly with the installation, not the product. Additionally, I have attempted to contact him multiple times, but he has been unresponsive. This experience has been highly disappointing, and I would caution others before using his services.

  Repair of shower room leaks affecting my flat below

  I had introduced Desale (Erisure Ltd) to my upstairs neighbours, because of water ingress onto my bedroom ceiling from the upstairs shower room. Desale investigated the sources of the leaks very diligently, fixed the problems (wall tiles grouting that was missing, and a lack of sealant inside and outside the shower tray), ran tests to ensure that all areas of leaks had been correctly identified. He recommended appropriate measures to address the results of water ingress onto my ceiling. - I observed a very responsive, thorough and knowledgeable tradesman, who takes pride in his work!
