What a lovely man Brendan was. Recommended to me by someone down the road and I was sooo grateful. He arrived on time swept out our open fire and gave us lots of helpful advice. Hi, my name is Brendan and I moved to Epsom from Ashtead last year. My wife and I have a young family and wanted to be close to all the excellent local schools. Being half Norwegian, we have always had open fires or wood stoves in our family home, so it is like second nature being around them.
Having a clean flue in your chimney is vital to be safe. I know times are hard, but this is not a job that can be put off. If you are using your fire, then it must be swept often.
I pride myself on being a "clean-sweep." I take time to ensure there is no mess. I have seen other sweeps rush to try and get as many jobs completed in one day as possible - that is not my style and doesn't fit my work ethic.
Epsom Sweep is a small, family-run business based in Epsom. We serve Epsom and the surrounding area, including Ashtead and Leatherhead. We specialise in rotary power sweeping for wood burners, multi-fuel stoves and open fires. Following the sweep, we will issue a certificate of chimney sweeping from the National Association of Chimney Sweeps. Most home insurance companies require this certificate as evidence you have maintained your working chimney.
